The Lancaster and District group of Masonic Lodges and Chapters is responsible for freemasonry in and around Lancaster and Morecambe, extending north to Silverdale and south to Garstang. This website aims to provide both members of the group and visitors to the site and indeed the area, with a flavour of what is happening in the area, from masonic meetings being held, to recent news stories affecting both masonic and non masonic life and the community as a whole. | UNIVERSITY MASONRY | ||
| The introduction of ‘University Masonry’ in the University Lodge of Liverpool has been hugely successful, particularly among the student body, and membership of that lodge is growing monthly.
We are now keen to discover the level of potential interest in the other university locations within our Masonic Province, which stretches from the Mersey to Barrow-in-Furness with the A6 as its eastern boundary.
