Carnforth Masonic Study Circle

We meet three times a year, at Carnforth Working Mens's Club (The Red Court), 152 Lancaster Road, Carnforth, LA5 9EE
on a fifth Friday of the month (which means that our meeting times are dictated by those months having five Fridays).

We start our meeting at 7.30pm, and always finish by 9.00pm. Typically our meetings follow a simple format, with about ten
minutes of 'business' (minutes etc) followed by the topic of the evening by the guest speaker which lasts for about forty
five minutes. After this there is usually a question time when members can ask the speaker about his talk. This is often a very
instructive time!

There then follows another short 'business' session (new memberships, presentation of books and any other business)
before the meeting is closed.

Our meetings are very friendly and relaxed, and as we are not a lodge there are no ranks or salutes other than the
courtesy of addressing each other as Brother or Worshipful Brother, we do not wear regalia and dress is informal.
In addition, there is a lending library for the members with over one hundred books.

Our annual subscription is only £5.00 and qualification for membership is simply to be a Master-Mason

Details can be obtained from the Secretary,

W. Bro. Bill Harwood (Warton Lodge 8411)

Due to circumstances beyond our control, we have had to cancel the October meeting of the Study Circle

All master masons are most welcome.
